Jeffrey Dean Morgan may be playing the most entertaining villain The Walking Dead has ever seen, but that doesn’t mean he’s obligated to speak well of the man. Negan’s a sonofabitch and we all know it!
Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Morgan was asked about how his new role on The Walking Dead compares with his nice-guy part in The Good Wife. Jeffrey’s response:
He’s a game-changer. It’s a complete 180 from what I’m doing on The Good Wife, which for an actor is a dream come true. I get to be the biggest ass in the world, it’s awesome.
In the recent past, Morgan has stressed that the Negan character will leap off the pages of the comic onto the small screen. We’ll find out just how well they’ve accomplished that leap in the next few months. The Walking Dead returns on February 14th, although Negan reportedly won’t be seen until the season finale (I’m not buying that though).
