Joseph Morgan, best-known for playing Klaus Mikaelson on The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals, has been set to join the upcoming fourth season of DC’s Titans on HBO Max. Morgan will be playing well-known DC multiverse villain Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood and will be one of three new villains boarding the popular show, per “The Hollywood Reporter.“
Joining Morgan will be Franka Potente, who is set to play May Bennett/Mother Mayhem, a natural leader who always carries the threat of violence with her, a predator in human form with an unfettered belief in her mission in the world. Lisa Ambalavanar rounds out the new additions in the recurring role of Jinx, a quick-witted criminal loner and a master of dark magic with a joy for manipulating others and creating chaos while doing it.
Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood is an introvert with a strong intelligence and a hidden dark nature. Jinx and Blood both appeared on the animated Teen Titans series while Sebastian Blood also appeared on the second season of Arrow on The CW.
Titans, which began its run in 2018, follows a team of young superheroes that combat evil and other perils. The series was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti. The current cast includes Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Ryan Potter, Teagan Croft, Curran Walters, Conor Leslie, Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, Chelsea Zang, and Joshua Orpin.
