As a former (rather angsty) Nine Inch Nails fan, it was rather cool to see Trent Reznor win an Oscar for his SOCIAL NETWORK soundtrack last year, and now the man is reteaming with David Fincher once more to set the mood for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO.
Sony has released a new track from the album which you can listen to below if it suits you. It’s far less intense than the track that accompanied the first trailer, and is probably best described as “atmospheric.” You can definitely tell it’s Reznor though (along with Atticus Ross), as he definitely has crafted a signature style.
