Lost City of D: Daniel Radcliffe to play the villain in Paramount film

Lost City of D, Daniel Radcliffe, Sandra Bullock, Paramount+

If you see a peculiar sparkle in Daniel Radcliffe's eye today, it's likely because he's playing the villain in Paramount’s romantic action-adventure comedy Lost City of D starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. Patti Harrison (A Simple Favour, Raya and the Last Dragon)and Da 'Vine Joy Randolf (The United States vs. Billie Holiday) also star in the film, set to be directed by Adam and Aaron Nee. In addition to her starring role, Bullock is also producing via her Fortis Films studio with Liza Chasin through 3dot Productions. Seth Gordon produces through Exhibit A with Dana Fox in charge of the production draft.

The Lost City of D follows a reclusive romance novelist (Bullock) who was sure nothing could be worse than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model (Tatum) until a kidnapping attempt sweeps them both into a cutthroat jungle adventure, proving life can be so much stranger, and more romantic than any of her paperback fictions.

Having successfully shed his Harry Potter roots by acting in one unconventional title after another – like Swiss Army Man and Guns Akimbo – Radcliffe has proven that he can slip into just about any role. I'm excited to see what he can do as the villain in Lost City of D, especially while acting alongside Bullock and Tatum.
