Avengers Light Banner

I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever seen a movie promoted as much as Marvel’s THE AVENGERS.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just a bit overwhelming.

So I actually find it quite nice to see bit of advertising that doesn’t promote the movie itself per se, but rather the very specific shared experience of attending a midnight screening.  I love to go to those whenever I can, because you can look around the theater at the sea of grinning faces and know that you’re among fellow Schmoes.  Fellow geeks.  Fellow enthusiasts.  In other words, people who really care about and love the story their about to see.

And if you like the art below, it’s actually possible to get your hands on a print for free – just make sure to get a jump on those tickets and be at the theater hella early, as they’re extemely limited.  In fact, even the number of participating theaters is limited, so click here to find out if you’re one of the fortunate few.
