Will the opening credits of Marvel’s future superhero movies now contain clever ways to incorporate Paramount’s famous chunk of rocky real estate?

Sure looks that way. The studio who distributed Marvel’s smash solo debut IRON MAN wants another piece of that lucrative costume-clad universe. Marvel has pacted with Paramount for its next five films, which will include Kenneth Branagh’s THOR , the IRON MAN sequel and CAPTAIN AMERICA.

The deal gives Paramount something to help fill the vacuum left by the departing Dreamworks, and obviously means a better financial deal for Marvel. Let’s just hope they have their eyes on more than dollar signs, after the uproar over their delays in getting Favreau back for IRON MAN 2…
