Mayans MC hit the road in first tease for Kurt Sutter’s S.O.A. spinoff

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

As a Spanish cover of The Rolling Stones classic song "Paint it Black" filters in, FX Networks has at long last released a teaser trailer for MAYANS MC, the next chapter of the SONS OF ANARCHY saga. Based on the award-winning drama created by Kurt Sutter, MAYANS MC finds the violent, territorial, and destructive group riding out of the SONS OF ANARCHY series and into their own 10-episode drama set for release this Fall on FX.

MAYANS MC is set in a post-Jax Teller world, where EZ Reyes, fresh out of prison, is a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Now EZ must carve out his new outlaw identity in a town where he once was the golden boy who had the American Dream within his grasp.

The new program stars Edward James Olmos, JD Pardo, Sarah Bolger, Clayton Cardenas, Richard Cabral, Michael Irby, Raoul Trujillo, Antonio Jaramillo and Carla Baratta in a pulse-pounding spinoff based on the crimes, drama, and territorial pissings of a rough-and-tumble band of bikers hell-bent on keeping their own brand of peace among thieves, liars, and drug-runners.

Noberto Barba will direct the pilot as well as executive produce alongside Sutter who will also executive produce. Are you prepared to ride into the sun, once again, with Sutter's particular brand of motorcycle shenanigans? Let us know in the comments section below.

MAYANS MC will premiere this Fall on FX.
