Michael B. Jordan emits a primal scream for the final Creed II poster

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Can you hear it? The roar of the crowd? The sound of gloves touching one another in anger and determination? It'd be impossible not to, as MGM Studios has just unveiled the final poster for CREED II, the upcoming sequel to BLACK PANTHER director Ryan Coogler's 2015 sports drama starring Michael B. Jordan (FRUITVALE STATION, FANTASTIC FOUR), Sylvester Stallone (ROCKY, RAMBO), and Tessa Thompson (THOR: RAGNAROK, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE). In the poster, we see Jordan's Adonis Creed lifting his head to the sky in what looks like frustration, as the weight of his latest bout comes crashing upon his mighty shoulders.

You can check the poster out for yourself below:

Here's the official synopsis for CREED II:

Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family's past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what's worth fighting for, and discover that nothing's more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can't escape your history.

In addition to the final poster reveal, the studio has also announced that a new trailer for CREED II will enter the ring tomorrow, giving fans of the Rocky-related drama yet another piece of promotional material to look forward to.

CREED II is directed by Steven Caple Jr. (THE LAND, A DIFFERENT TREE), and is based off of a script penned by Sylvester Stallone. Stallone will also produce the feature alongside Kevin King-Templeton, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler and Irwin Winkler will executive produce.

Be ready to put your gloves up for when CREED II floats like a butterfly and into theaters on November 21st.
