Michelle Monaghan, The Craft

THE CRAFT is one of those movies which I've just never gotten around to watching, but thankfully I won't have to bother with the original as a remake is on the way from Blumhouse Productions. That's how this works, right?

Deadline has reported that Michelle Monaghan (MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT) is set to join the cast of THE CRAFT remake which is set to be written, directed, and executive produced by Zoe Lister-Jones (BAND AID). There's no word on who Monaghan will be playing in the film, but she'll be joining a cast which includes Cailee Spaeny (PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING), Lovie Simone (Greenleaf), Gideon Adlon (The Society), Zoey Luna (Pose), Nicholas Galitzine (Chambers), Julian Grey (Godless), and David Duchovny (The X-Files). The original film followed a newcomer at a Catholic prep high school who falls in with a trio of outcast teen girls who practice witchcraft, and wage curses against those who tick them off. It seems that production on THE CRAFT remake has already launced as Zoe Lister-Jones posted the following photo on Instagram yesterday.
