Mark Millar, creator of the graphic novel on which this weekend’s bullet curving actioner WANTED is based, recently told folks over at his official forums that he’s already been approached about a sequel to the sexy tattooed assassin
action. He says: “Wanted 2 already being planned and they’ve asked me how I can develop some of the other stuff from the book into the sequel. We’ll see what box office is like at the weekend, but everyone knows this is going to make a LOT of dough…Wall-E permitting. Fucking bastard of a wee robot.” You gotta love that caveat at the end. At least he acknowledges that that adorable robot will be a potent force at the box office this weekend and it’s highly unlikely WANTED will be able to do anything about it.
