Have you got a Fire TV device that is simply burning to host Disney's upcoming streaming service? You do? Well then, Disney CEO Bob Iger has some supercalifragilisticexpialidocious news for you! It was announced late Thursday evening that the House of Mouse has, at long last, reached a distribution deal with Amazon. What does that mean for all you Mouseketeers out there? Simply put, it means that Disney+ will be available on many more devices than previously announced, which now include:

– Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV, and fully integrated with the Apple TV app; customers can subscribe to Disney+ via in-app purchase)

– Google (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices)

– Microsoft (Xbox One)

– Sony / Sony Interactive Entertainment (all Android based Sony TVs and PlayStation 4)

– Roku (Roku streaming players and Roku TV models)

– Amazon

– Samsung

– LG TV

Back in October, rumors began circulating that ongoing advertisement disputes would keep Disney's exclusive streaming service off of Fire TV, as well as Disney's other apps like ESPN, ABC, and Disney Channel. At the time that the dispute was made public, the Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon had been angling to sell "a substantial percentage" of ad space as part of the company's effort to attract additional earnings setups outside of its cloud-based service.

One way or another, both companies had managed to reach an accord, and so now Disney+ is capable of being hosted on more platforms.

“I think people will be extremely pleased,” Iger said on CNBC.
