Best movie and TV Trailers of the Week! Detective Pikachu, Roma and more!

It's the best time of the week! The time to kick back in your pajama pants, grab your Saturday morning coffee, pull up a chair, and check out the most exciting movie and television trailers of the week. Check out our official roundup in the video below!

If you had told ten-year-old Kalyn while she was playing with her Pokemon cards that one day, a live action DETECTIVE PIKACHU adaptation would become her most anticipated movie of the year, she would've laughed in your face. Then, she'd probably go back to begging her parents to buy her Pokemon Snap on N64. Yet, here we are, in 2018, with a brand new trailer for a Ryan Reynolds-led Pokemon movie that looks surprisingly promising, and suddenly this writer is filled with a child-like joy she hasn't known since the days when she vowed to snap a proper photo of the elusive floating Mew. What a time to be alive.

Speaking of throwbacks, we also have not one, but two new teaser trailers for the upcoming TOY STORY 4, one of which features a hilariously adorable skit between beloved comedians Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele. There's also a brand new trailer for Tim Burton's live action DUMBO, which, if played accordingly, looks like it could be his best movie in years. 

If superhero movies are more your bag, I've got good news for you! There's a new brand new "Real Superheroes" trailer for M. Nigh Shyamalan's upcoming GLASS, which will feature the banding together of notorious baddies Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) and Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) himself, Mr. Glass, with the UNBREAKABLE star David Dunn (Bruce Willis) hot on their trail. Also starring is Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellie Staple, a counselor who attempts to aid the men she perceives to be mentally unstable, and Anya Taylor Joy as the returning SPLIT co-star Casey Cooke.

Next up we have TV trailers! This week we have a brand new look at THE FIX, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM season 10, and a trailer for the long awaited 8th season of HBO's GAME OF THRONES.

Although this writer is more than a little excited for DETECTIVE PIKACHU, the best trailer of the week award belongs to the captivating ROMA, which critics are already calling director Alfonso Cuaron's masterpiece. Check out the footage below for yourself.
