Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have a confrontation on the set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER is currently filming and we’ve already sneaked a peek at some set pics and production art, so just chalk this up to another entry in the in-production coverage department. The bonus is that there’s plenty of Scarlett Johansson, who returns as Natasha Romanov a.k.a. Black Widow, who teams up with Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America (Chris Evans) to track down the villain known as The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), formerly Bucky, Cap’s partner during WWII.

The set pics from this scene involve Evans and Johansson confronting S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Jasper Sitwell (Max Hernandez), which results in Black Widow delivering one of her signature kicks and knocking him on his ass. Is it a spoiler? Doubtful, but with no context to go off of, it is interesting that they’re beating up a guy that’s supposed to be on the same team. Of course, he could’ve just made a comment about her breasts…

Kick some Sitwell:

I’ll reiterate once again that this is my most anticipated movie for 2014, as I am a huge Cap fan, especially The Winter Soldier storyline. Add in the great cast of characters and the political thriller aspect and I think this has the prospects of being a great entry in the Marvel line.
