2014 has yielded a weak box office with the only film crossing the $300 million mark at the domestic box office being GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Chris Pratt is now a bona-fide movie star, so who better to host the 40th season premiere of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE? Pratt has plenty of experience in improv and comedy thanks to his tenure on PARKS AND RECREATION, so this should be a slam dunk.
As is custom, the SNL guest host always records a series of promos with a cast-member and Pratt was lucky enough to be partnered with the hilarious Kate McKinnon for his promos. The resulting six minute reel is now online and it is pretty f*cking hilarious. McKinnon goes all sorts of crazy asking about Pratt’s abs and names him as her fifth favorite Guardian.
