There will be a sequel.

If this is coming as a surprise to you, then it seems you haven’t been on the planet in the past week or so. Disney CEO Bob Iger announced a bit ago that a second installment was being developed. He said that the film’s success, “is a great illustration of why we like Marvel so much.” Then added that Avengers merchandising has been going strong.

The movie was damn good. If they don’t get Joss back then my excitement level will decline, unless they announce someone of equal awesomeness or at least a good amount of it. What’s in-store for the sequel? Did you watch past the credits? Maybe that…
