First teaser for Downton Abbey movie invites you to a world of elegance

DOWNTON ABBEY brought elegance, sophistication and binge-worthy drama to television, and now those same qualities will be brought to the big screen in the film version of the hit show. The movie was announced a few months ago, production was kicked into high gear, and now we already have the first teaser for the movie due next September. We may not get a look at series regulars like Hugh Bonneville or Joanne Froggatt, but it’s still a very English piece of footage, with horses, fine music and lots of exterior shots of the famous home. Watch it with a cup of tea, yes?
