Hottie Jessica Alba to star in Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 4

Another SPY KIDS movie? Like it or not, it’s coming. But it may be coming with the tasty treat to your right, as Jessica Alba (LITTLE FOCKERS, MACHETE) is reportedly in negotiations to star in the latest 3D kids flick from filmmaker Robert Rodriguez (MACHETE, SHORTS).

SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, according to THR’s Heat Vision, “centers on Alba as a retired spy who has been reactivated. The actress, mother of a toddler in real life, will be playing the mother of a baby and two preteen stepchildren.”

If that sounds vaguely familiar to the first few SPY KIDS films, well, that’s because this latest installment is something of a reboot. Since the original kids Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara are, umm, no longer kids (Vega is 23 and now engaged), the studio has decided to recast young and hope that the name-brand and eye-popping visuals will attract a new breed of youngins… along with their parents’ wallets.

Funny enough, though, Vega, Sabara, and Antonio Banderas (but no Carla Gugino? Smart MILF) will be returning in supporting roles.

SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD goes into production sometime next month (with a budget of less than $30 million?!).
