Jason Momoa Meets Aquaman Wax Figure

Today at the New York press conference for James Wan's AQUAMAN, leading man Jason Momoa came face to face with…Jason Mamoa.

That's right, Aquaman himself got to stare into the eyes of Aquaman, as Jason Momoa got to meet his wax figure for the very first time! His reaction? Pretty much what anyone would say if they saw their own eyes staring back at them: "Wow, that is crazy!"

Crafted by Madame Tussauds, the figure shows Momoa outfitted in his superhero costume that will debut on screens for the first time when the film is released on December 21. It's pretty haunting how closely this statue resembles Momoa, especially when he poses by to his doppelganger and bends at the knee to flex.

The figure will debut inside Madame Tussauds’ Justice League: A Call for Heroes experience later this month at the Orlando location on December 7th, and in the Sydney locations on December 13th.
