Geek demi-god Edgar Wright very recently started filming on his comic adapted SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD and he isn’t wasting any time posting daily pictures of said filming over on his new site “Edgar Wright There”. For those of you familiar with the novel, is this an accurate representation of the world of Scott Pilgrim? At least from what you see here? That’s likely a “yes” considering it’s Edgar Wright directing and he’s awesome. In the film, Michael Cera plays the titular Pilgrim who falls in love with the beautiful Ramona (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) but must defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends before he can have her. No stateside release date has been set as yet but it’s likely to be later this year. Click through to check out the rest of the pics.
