Ryan Reynolds, Mint Mobile, coronavirus, COVID-19

By now everyone knows social distancing is causing some people to lose their cool, especially as the beginning of a new month looms and bill collectors prepare to do their worst. Thankfully, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to hold the world by its short and curlies, Mint Mobile has announced that the company is currently offering free unlimited data to their customers through May 14th. Now, if you're like me, the moment you're greeted by a pre-recorded message after picking up the phone, you cancel the call. However, what if the person leaving that message was Ryan Reynolds? What if Reynolds was so bored that he'd decided to call you up and ramble about Mint Mobile's newest promotion? Would you still hang up? Of course not. You'd listen to that entire message while straining your ears, hoping to soak every dulcet tone of Reynolds' signature vocals into your eager ear holes.

Below video is users responding to Reynolds in his own voicemail:

And now, without further adieu, I present to you a batch of tweets and voicemails that Mint Mobile customers have shared online:

If customers call him back they will hear Ryan’s special voicemail message in which he asks people to tell him their least favorite Ryan Reynolds movie. Personally, I'd found Reynolds' Netflix action comedy 6 UNDERGROUND to be unwatchable. I think I'd lasted a total of 14 minutes before Michael Bay's overabundance of quick-cuts made me feel as if I'd just been riding the Gravitron at a ramshackle carnival for upward of six hours straight. Now, don't get me wrong, I love me some Ryan Reynolds as much as the next movie lover. I honestly and truly do. I'm simply responding to the question. I'd sooner watch R.I.P.D. than attempt another go at Bay's latest explosion-happy, sugar-fueled romp. For real though, Ryan, I love you. Call me.
