The potentially all-star cast of COGAN’S TRADE just got even all-stari-ier with the addition of Sam Rockwell to the mix, joining the ensemble headlined by Brad Pitt.
The Andrew Dominik-directed film focuses on a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game run by the mob, and the rest of the cast is rumored to include Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Bill Murray, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana and Domink, Rockwell and Pitt’s ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES cohort Casey Affleck, though none are officially confirmed as of yet.
Rockwell is currently also signed onto Jonah Hill’s comedy THE SITTER, will appears in COWBOYS AND ALIENS and is looking for an Oscar in Hillary Swank’s CONVICTION as a wrongly imprisoned man.
COGAN is shaping up to be a project to watch, and let’s hope that cast becomes more than just a wishlist.
