The villain for The Wolverine is…

While this may be no huge surprise, Hugh Jackman revealed the villain he’s facing in THE WOLVERINE.

Who is it? Like this news really needs a SPOILER warning, but for those who get prefer one…

OH GEEZ!

It’s the Silver Samurai. Jackman confirmed the villain during a surprise Comic Con appearance at the REAL STEEL panel. This is what Wolverine himself had to say: “I’m filming LES MISERABLES in February, but before that I will be filming WOLVERINE 2 in October. Chris McQuarrie has written a fantastic script and it should turn out really good. I’ll fight the Silver Samurai in it so that should be exciting. Most of the filming will take place in Japan.”

As far as I know, the ties between Silver Samurai and Logan has to do with Wolverine falling for Mariko Yashida. This is bad for many reasons. If you don’t know, I’ll keep you in the dark. If you want to know so bad, just Google it. I don’t want to be the one to spoil the “Wolverine goes to Japan” party…
