The world premiere of Spectre will take place in the UK on October 6th

While those of us wait with bated breath to see Daniel Craig don a tux with a Walther PPK stowed in a holster, lucky audiences across the United Kingdom will get to see the premiere of SPECTRE a week before it debuts anywhere else. For the first time ever, a film will have it's world premiere red carpet event while also debuting in theaters across both England and Ireland. This is a special opportunity for fans to not only see the film before most of the world but also seeing it the same night as it premieres on October 26th.

The global rollout of films before their domestic release date is nothing new but has shown to be very profitable this year with films like AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and MINIONS ranking in the dough before opening in North America. Bond films have a long history of opening in the United Kingdom prior to America, but debuting across the country is something unique that should amp up the first financial results for the movie.

The 24th Bond film, SPECTRE reunites director Sam Mendes with star Daniel Craig. After the massive global success of SKYFALL (over $1.1 billion worldwide), Sony and MGM are banking that SPECTRE will bring back those same audiences and more. With a cast that includes the immortally gorgeous Monica Bellucci, Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY's Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux, as well as returning castmember Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, and Naomie Harris, SPECTRE is shaping up to be one hell of a movie.

SPECTRE opens domestically on November 6th.
