Just three months away and THE AVENGERS is continuing its gradual release of product and promotional items, leading up to the big day on May 4th, 2012. Today, we have a look at what you can anticipate seeing at the concession stand, as well as a new banner featuring the four main Avengers.
Popcorn buckets, cups (with toppers), keychains (?), etc. will gut punch more money out of you than your actual ticket and $5 3D glasses combined. Well, that is a huge percentage of how theaters make money, so why not?
I’m a sucker for a lot of this stuff anyway, although not so much that I MUST. HAVE. EVERYTHING. However, I will usually take advantage of some of the cooler promotions for movies I’m excited for. And, I guess I kinda want to see THE AVENGERS. Just a little.

And that about does it for THE AVENGERS product news for today. Expect more, peeps. A LOT more. Plus, we’ve got the full, 30-second Super Bowl spot on Sunday. Obviously, we don’t know if the movie is good, great, just okay, or *gasp* awful, but I’ve gotta hand it to Marvel in terms of marketing. They’ve put forth a great push so far and I’m really looking forward to the more high-end products that’ll come out of this. Stay tuned.
