New Halloween Horror Anthology 10/31/16 secures its directing line-up!

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

I love a good horror anthology, don't you? Of course you do. From true classics like CREEPSHOW and TRICK R TREAT, to the new classics such as HOLIDAYS and TALES OF HALLOWEEN, the horror anthology has always been a welcome treat within the horror genre.

One of the new classics of the anthology renaissance let's call it, is VOLUMES OF BLOOD. Now you may have heard us talk about this flick – and its sequel VOLUMES OF BLOOD: HORROR STORIES – a lot, but that's because we really dig those flicks here and want to spread the word. Check them out!

Turns out the filmmakers behind VOLUMES OF BLOOD and the 80s throw-back THE BARN, have joined forces and will be bringing us the new Halloween-themed horror anthology 10/31/16. Can't wait! While I have not yet seen THE BARN it has been near the top of my must-see list since the amazingly retro trailer & poster hit.

Today we'd like to share the news that 10/31/16 has locked and secured its official director's line-up.

They are as follows:

Justin M. Seaman (THE BARN)
Zane Hershberger (DEVILUTION)

Also, it is being reported, Jason Turner (THE DOOMS CHAPEL HORROR, VOB: HORROR STORIES) has joined the project as a writer. Altogether this looks like one hell of a line-up. Bring it on, guys!

10/31/16 SYNOPSIS:

A Halloween treat bag of all the things that go bump in the night. From masked killers to scarecrows, witches and tricksters. There's a scare for everyone in this anthology of horror and the macabre from the creators of The Barn and Volumes of Blood.

And here is more info via press release:
