New Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures short pays tribute to Leia Organa

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

A new STAR WARS: GALAXY OF ADVENTURES short has been unleashed online! The latest short centers on the life and times of General Leia Organa, from her days as an invaluable member of the Rebel Alliance to becoming a mentor for Rey as well as others who've yet to be seduced by the dark side of the force.

Titled “Leia Organa – A Princess, A General, A Mentor,” the short revisits a handful of Leia's milestone moments, each depicted using a soft color palette and a Golden Book-style presentation. As your attoney I advise you to have a few tissues handy, as the short does have the potential to elicit a few tears.

You can watch the short for yourself below:

There exist a few episodes of the STAR WARS: GALAXY OF ADVENTURES series so far. The first episode, “Rey and Friends vs. The First Order,” shows a combined effort between Rey, BB-8, Chebacca, Poe Dameron, and Finn, as they work together to defeat the First Order.

The next episode, titled "Kylo Ren and Dark Vader – A Legacy of Power," follows Kylo Ren down a dark path as he strives to become a worth successor to Darth Vader.

Finally, an episode titled "The Force Call to Rey" focuses on The Force reaching out to Rey, a siren song that ultimately leads to her becoming one of the most powerful Jedis is a galaxy far, far away.

I've seen a number of tributes to Carrie Fisher's Leia Organa since the legendary actress passed away in late December of 2016, and it warms my heart to see that the Star Wars Universe is still finding unique ways to honor her contribution to the franchise.

What are some of your favorite Star Wars moments featuring Leia Organa? Feel free to share them with us in the comments section below.
