Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s Madisen Beaty joins Simon Barrett’s Seance

Madisen Beaty The Clovehitch Killer

Madisen Beaty has signed on to join Suki Waterhouse and Inanna Sarkis in the cast of YOU'RE NEXT and THE GUEST writer Simon Barrett's feature directorial debut SEANCE, which is set in

Fairfield Academy, an all-girls boarding school haunted by a vengeful spirit.

Waterhouse stars as Camille, "a young woman who arrives at the school after a student’s sudden death and must play detective to solve the mystery." Sarkis is playing Alice, "a first-class mean girl who stages a seance as a joke that sparks a rash of murders with an apparent supernatural twist."

Beaty is taking on the role of Bethany, "a top student at the school who joins the girls in holding a seance."

I became a fan of Beaty while watching the film THE CLOVEHITCH KILLER (pictured above) earlier this year, and then saw her share a memorable scene with Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarantino's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. In that one, Beaty played Manson Family member Patricia "Katie" Krenwinkel, a real person she previously portrayed in the NBC series Aquarius. I'm glad to hear she'll be in SEANCE, a film I was sold on as soon as it was announced.

Adam Wingard and Alex Mace are producing SEANCE alongside Dark Castle, HanWay, Ingenious, and Addictive Pictures' John Schoenfelder, Russell Ackerman, and Tomas Deckaj. Dark Castle's Hal Sadoff serves as executive producer.
