Only Murders in the Building, Season 2, Steve Martin, Hulu, Martin Short, Selena Gomez

This summer got a lot hotter now that Only Murders in the Building Season 2 has an official premiere date. Hulu announced today that the laugh-out-loud series starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez returns on Thursday, June 28.

Hulu announced the premiere via a blooper-filled promo featuring the three stars of the mysterious series:

You can find the official synopsis for Only Murders in the Building Season 2 below:

Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue – the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide. They are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with many New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.

Joining the cast for the show’s sophomore season is Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad, Paper Towns) as Alice and Michael Rapaport (Deep Blue Sea, Atypical) as Detective Kreps.

Only Murders in the Building hails from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie, Looking). Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal.

The investigators have become the investigated in this new season. I can’t wait to see how Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez) worm their way out of this predicament. If you haven’t checked out Only Murders in the Building, I highly recommend doing so. The series presents an intriguing mystery peppered with plenty of laughs and outstanding chemistry between its three leads. I’m excited to see what Delevingne and Rapaport will bring to the table when Only Murders in the Building Season 2 kicks off this Summer.
