While scores of horror fans eagerly await the sequel to Andy Muschietti's 2017 box office smash, IT, DR Movie News has recently posted a batch of leaked photos from the set of IT: CHAPTER TWO that are sure to give fans of the Stephen King classic novel something to get excited about. The highly-anticipated sequel is presently filming in Ontario, Canada, where Pennywise actor Bill Skarsgard (CASTLE ROCK, HEMLOCK GROVE) was recently spotted sitting atop a recreation of Derry, Maine’s Paul Bunyan statue, an iconic set piece from King's bone-chilling 1986 novel upon which the films are based.

Alongside the photos posted by DR Movie News come pics from other Twitter accounts, Nocturnis Web Terror and flávia.

Starring in what is likely to become one of the biggest horror movie blockbusters of all time are James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Andy Bean as Stanley Uris, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon.

When IT: CHAPTER TWO floats into theaters, the sequel will find the adult members of the Losers' Club making good on their pact to return to Derry, after banishing Pennywise to the depths below for a 27-year-long slumber. Together, the group will have to face their fears, once again, in the hope of destroying the entity known as Pennywise for all eternity.

IT: CHAPTER TWO will arrive in theaters September 6, 2019.
