Poster adds some color to Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Kevin Smith's TUSK follow-up YOGA HOSERS will be making its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, and in preparation for its first screening a poster for the film has made its way online. The image is a familiar promotional shot, but some '80s / almost anaglyph 3D-esque coloring has been added to it, along with the greeting "Namaste."

Featured on the poster are stars Harley Quinn Smith, daughter of the writer/director, and Lily Rose Depp, daughter of co-star Johnny Depp, who are reprising their TUSK roles.

Yoga Hosers centers on 15-year-old yoga nuts Colleen Collette (Lily-Rose Depp) and Colleen McKenzie (Harley Quinn Smith), who have an after-school job at a Manitoba convenience store called Eh-2-Zed. When an ancient evil rises from beneath Canada’s crust and threatens their big invitation to a Grade 12 party, the Colleens join forces with a legendary man-hunter from Montreal named Guy Lapointe (Depp) to fight for their lives with all seven chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time.

Among the ancient evils that Lapointe and the Colleens will be taking on are the Bratzis, foot tall Canadian Nazis made of sentient bratwurst, and the hulking, hockey masked Goalie Golem. I have included pictures of these monsters below the poster. The shot of the Golem is from his appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Also in the YOGA HOSERS cast are Tony Hale, Natasha Lyonne, Austin Butler, Adam Brody, Tyler Posey, Kevin Conroy, Stan Lee, Jason Mewes, Jennifer Schwalbach, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, Ralph Garman, and Harley Morenstein.

I can't wait to check this movie out. I won't be at Sundance, but hopefully those of us who won't be in attendance will at least have a trailer to watch soon.
