Psychological shark attack movie From the Depths unleashes new trailer!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Now here's an interesting take on your run-of-the-mill shark attack movie! Instead of trying to one-up the high that is the original JAWS – or hell, even trying to out-insane the SHARKNADO franchise – the upcoming psychological thriller FROM THE DEPTHS is taking a more unique approach to the genre! It's being described as "if the producers…hired David Lynch to make a shark thriller", and I'm way f*cking into it! You can check out the trippy trailer at the top of the article to see for yourself!

Here's the official synopsis:

After surviving a shark attack a young woman is plagued by nightmares of being stalked in the dark sea by a ravenous predator, and hallucinations of visits from her sister and boyfriend, both who were killed in the attack.

Honestly, this looks pretty damn impressive, especially considering it was reportedly shot in just seven days for only 30k. I'll definitely check it out once it's available!

Meanwhile, FROM THE DEPTHS – directed by Jose Montesinos and starring Angelica Briones, Terra Strong, Marissa Godinez, Taylor Jorgensen, and Liz Fenning – is hoping swim to release later this year!

So what do you guys think? Excited for JAWS-by-way-of-David Lynch? Either way, sound off below!
