Rambo: Last Blood international trailer fires off new footage

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

A new and international trailer for RAMBO: LAST BLOOD has been unleashed that features new footage of Stallone's classic character laying waste to his enemies while hoping to protect those he loves from a ruthless cartel.

Recently the film had received an R-rating from the MPAA for strong graphic violence, grisly images, drug use, and language. News of the long-awaited sequel being a bloodbath of unbridled proportions is sure to make RAMBO fans eager to pre-order tickets to the show, which according to analysts is expected to net a $20 million opening.

Heres' the logline for RAMBO: LAST BLOOD:

When the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo (Stallone) — who has been working on a ranch — crosses the U.S.-Mexico border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.

Billed as Stallone's final turn as John Rambo, the hardened Italian and Navajo-born Vietnam veteran, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD stars  Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada, Louis Mandylor, Joaquin Cosio, Yvette Monreal, Adriana Carraza, Jessica Madsen, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta, among several others.

Since the PR train began chugging for RAMBO: LAST BLOOD, Stallone has stated that he's game to return to the franchise for another installment, though his participation would depend on a great number of pieces falling properly into place.

"Let me just say something about the "last" of anything," Stallone has previously remarked. "I thought Rocky 3 was the last, you know. So I don't know anything. If it works I'll just keep going, you know, because I enjoy it so much."

Obviously, passion is a major factor for Stallone when it comes to playing his most iconic characters, such as Rambo, and of course, Rocky Balboa. The man loves to give people what they want, even if that means altering the role to become something better suited to his age. One thing's for sure, Stallone is a beast, and if it's within his power to deliver another rock-solid performance as a fan-favorite character, he'll find a way to make it happen. Now if only we could get a sequel to DEMOLITION MAN, right? That would be sweet.

RAMBO: LAST BLOOD will wage war on the box office and in theaters beginning on September 20.
