Just yesterday, we shared the news that prolific character actor Richard Edson has joined the cast of writer/director Rob Zombie's 3 FROM HELL, a sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS that is currently in production. Now comes word that another prolific character actor named Richard is also in the cast – this one Richard Riehle, who you may also know as "Hey, it's that guy!"

Riehle works like crazy, having racked up almost 400 acting credits. Most of those have come in the last 30 years, but Riehle has been making appearances in films since the late '70s. Directors keep him quite busy, and it's easy to understand why – the guy has a wonderful screen presence, so it's always a great moment for any film when Richard Riehle shows up in it.

Riehle may be most often recognized for his role in OFFICE SPACE, and might also be familiar to genre fans for his work in HATCHET, CHILLERAMA, and Zombie's HALLOWEEN II, where he played a security guard called Buddy.

There's no word on who Riehle will be playing in 3 FROM HELL. He joins a cast that includes Edson, Austin Stoker, Dee Wallace, Emilio Rivera, Billy Blair, Jeff Daniel Phillips, David Ury, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Pancho Moler, and Clint Howard (as a clown called Mr. Baggy Britches), with Danny Trejo and Daniel Roebuck reprising their roles from THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, and Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and Sheri Moon Zombie back as CORPSES and REJECTS characters Otis, Captain Spaulding, and Baby.
