Prolific character actor Richard Edson joins Rob Zombie’s 3 from Hell

The latest casting annoucement for writer/director Rob Zombie's HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS sequel 3 FROM HELL answers a "that guy" character actor mystery. 

Show me a picture of prolific actor Richard Edson and my mind would be flooded with images of his appearances in all sorts of movies and TV shows. FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF (pictured above), SUPER MARIO BROS., STRANGE DAYS, FRANKENFISH, the list goes on and on – Edson has over 100 acting credits to his name. But if you had shown me his picture and asked me what his name was, I would have had no clue.

Now Rob Zombie has provided the information that the actor's name is Richard Edson, and that Edson is currently earning his 106th acting credit with a role in 3 FROM HELL. Edson is great, so this is another cool addition to the cast of the CORPSES / REJECTS sequel. 

Also in the cast are Austin Stoker, Dee Wallace, Emilio Rivera, Billy Blair, Jeff Daniel Phillips, David Ury, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Pancho Moler, and Clint Howard, with Danny Trejo and Daniel Roebuck reprising their roles from THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, and Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and Sheri Moon Zombie back as CORPSES and REJECTS characters Otis, Captain Spaulding, and Baby.
