Fresh off of directing the CABIN FEVER remake, Travis Z(ariwny) has moved on to writing and directing another remake, this one an American version of the 2013 Irish film MIDNIGHT MAN, which was the feature debut of writer/director Rob Kennedy.

In assembling his take on THE MIDNIGHT MAN, Z has landed a cast that includes a couple of horror icons, Robert Englund and Lin Shaye (pictured above). Englund and Shaye have previously co-starred in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, WES CRAVEN'S NEW NIGHTMARE, 2001 MANIACS, WISH YOU WERE DEAD, and KILLER PAD.

Inspired by a Pagan ritual called "The Midnight Game", THE MIDNIGHT MAN stars Gabrielle Haugh (below) as

a girl who plays a game with her friends that summons a creature known as The Midnight Man who uses their worst fears against them.

Rounding out the cast are Grayson Gabriel, Summer Howell, Keenan Lehmann, Meredith Rose, and Michael Sirow, with Kyle Strauts as the Midnight Man himself.

Production on THE MIDNIGHT MAN is currently underway in Winnipeg.
