The Godfather of Gore, Tom Savini, (seen above
with me next to him geeking out so badly I can barely speak) is one of the
latest genre stars to join the cast for the film THE DEAD MATTERS.
According to the latest, Savini has signed on the
dotted line along with the scariest genie ever Andrew Divoff (WISHMASTER)
and Jason Carter. The film will be directed by Edward Douglas.
THE DEAD MATTER
tells the story of a vampire relic with occult powers that falls into the hands
of a grief-stricken young woman who will do anything to contact her dead brother.
The film is sounding pretty cool, and with no pun
intended one of the coolest aspects of this film will definitely be the music.
With the folks of
Midnight Syndicate behind the scenes of THE
DEAD MATTER you can be sure that the soundtrack for this thing will rock
some socks.
