Scream Interviews: We Talk to Marley Shelton, Dylan Minnette, Mikey Madison and Sonia Ammar!

As hard as it is to believe, it has been over 25 years since Wes Craven’s Scream hit theaters. One of the most clever and trailblazing horror movies of all time, there was no surprise when it spawned a few sequels – but it’s not likely anyone could have imagined the franchise would still be going after two decades.

The new Scream sees the return of Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks; in Scream 4, Judy was Dewey’s trsuted deputy, but when we meet her after about a decade, she’s now the sheriff of Woodsboro. Dylan Minnette plays her son Wes (good name), who just might be a target of the new Ghostface because of the friend group he’s a part of. We talked to Marley and Dylan about the former’s return to the series, the latter’s thoughts on where Wes fits in to the new film, and much more!

Finally, we have Mikey Madison and Sonia Ammar, who play Amber and Liv, members of the aforementioned friend group. Amber is a protective friend of Jenna Ortega’s Tara, who is the first person attacked by Ghostface in the film, while Liv is the girlfriend of jock Chad (Mason Gooding), and a relatively new member of the pack. We spoke to them about how their characters fit into this new chapter, how long it has been since they first started working on Scream, whether or not they hoped they would end up playing Ghostface, and more!
