Skill House has a death scene so intense, the camera operator passed out during filming

Just a few days ago, we shared the news that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Power Book II: Ghost), Leah Pipes (Sorority Row), McCarrie McCausland (Army Wives), Ivan Leung (The Tender Bar), Neal McDonough (Yellowstone), John DeLuca (Spree), Caitlin Carmichael (Midnight in the Switchgrass), Dani Oliveros (Roar), Emily Mei (The Download), Jacob Skidmore (Trinkets), TikTok star Hannah Stocking, and MMA star Paige VanZant had joined TikTok celebrity Bryce Hall in the cast of the TikTok-inspired horror film Skill House, which is being directed by genre regular Josh Stolberg. Stolberg is best known for co-writing such films as Sorority Row, Piranha 3D, Jigsaw, and Spiral… and he just tweeted an interesting update from the set of Skill House.

Sharing a picture of a gore-covered floor, Stolberg said, “Yikes!!! We shot a kill scene last night and the camera operator became so nauseated that he passed out and the camera crashed to the ground. Had to stop down for a 1/2 hour. He’s okay now but… get ready for some crazy shit!”

Scripted by Stolberg, Skill House is

a dark satire of social media and influencer culture, exploring how far people will go for online fame.

The movie is being filmed at Sway House, a Bel Air mansion made famous by TikTok creators.

In addition to acting in the movie, 50 Cent is producing it through his company G-Unit Film & Television. Skill House is also being produced by Alex Baskin, Lifeboat Productions’ Amy Kim and Jaime Burke, and Ryan Kavanaugh’s Proxima Studios. This will be the first project to be listed on Kavanaugh’s Entertainment Stock Exchange site. The ESX is “designed to allow users to invest in film projects and trade in and out of a film’s potential upside.”

I have a feeling that most horror fans will have an easier time watching the death scene than the camera operator did, but that floor does look quite disgusting. That picture is just one of several, usually blood-splattered, images Stolberg has shared. More can be seen on his Twitter. Legendary effects artist Steve Johnson is providing all of the bloodshed.
