"Ever since I was a young boy, I've played the silver ball. From Soho down to Brighton, I must have played them all."

– The Who

Order yourself a few chimichangas and get your flipper fingers ready, because the Merc with a Mouth is getting his very own pinball game! Today, the good people over at Stern Pinball have unveiled a teaser trailer for the upcoming Deadpool pinball machine. While the tease doesn't offer much in showing us the spread of the new table, it does come with Barry White-style narration and an adorable Wade bobblehead bumper, which is sure to bring the sexy back to the silver ball sport.

Founded in 1977, Stern Pinball is the oldest and largest designer and manufacturer of arcade-quality pinball games on the planet. For over 40 years, Stern Pinball has been building pinball machines based on popular sporting institutions, bands, and pop culture properties. In truth, if you've ever visited an arcade where pinball machines are on display, you're likely to have played one of the company's many interactive tables. As an example, here's a list of just a few properties Stern Pinball has represented: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Metallica, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman 66, WWE and Star Trek, just to name a few.

While details surrounding the Deadpool-themed table are scarce, word around the arcade has the machine releasing in late Summer/Fall of 2018. Of course, this is just speculation, so be sure to keep your ear holes open for some more concrete information as it becomes available.

Are you a pinball enthusiast? What's your favorite table? Personally, I think the Addam's Family table might be the best I've ever played. Oh, and then there's the Twilight Zone machine, and Funhouse, too. Dammit, there are a lot of great pinball machines.
