A fan film inspired by the Street Fighter video game series was released through YouTube over the weekend, and we thought it was worthy of being shared here on Arrow in the Head. A bloody, violent take on the Street Fighter concept, the short is called Street Fighter: Psychosis, and was written and directed by Stanton Chong from a story by Sean Kohnke. The main game characters featured in the short are Violent Ken and Balrog, but several more make an appearance during the short’s 13-minute running time.
Since this is a fan film that is “in no way affiliated with Capcom or endorsed by the Street Fighter franchise”, the filmmakers can’t profit off of it – but if they were to make an original film they could profit off of and filled it with the same sort of fight scenes and bloodshed they put into Street Fighter: Psychosis, I would be hyped to check it out.
