Odds are that if you're a comic book fan, you're already familiar with CW's The Flash. Barry Allen wakes up 9 months after he was struck by lightning and discovers that the bolt gave him the power of super speed. As one does when gifted with superpowers, he becomes The Flash and fights crime. With the newest season only 3 months away, Deadline has dropped a first look at Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale), the teen sidekick to Barry Allen's Flash (Grant Gustin), from the upcoming season 3 premiere.
I know there's a lot of fans out there for the current DC shows. I can't say I've gotten into any of the comic book shows, but I did give Arrow a few episodes of my time . . . and that was sufficient! Still, it's nice to know that if Warner Bros.' movies aren't doing anything for ya, then there's always the CW shows to try out!
Season 3 of The Flash will premiere on Tuesday, October 4th on The CW.
