Take a peek at Schwarzenegger and Stallone on the set of The Tomb

JoBloJoBlo

Today we have a quick look at two action icons, Scwarzenegger and Stallone, who are currently filming the prison escape actioner THE TOMB.  The seasoned vets are all geared up in their prison garb, with Ah-nuld looking particularly aged with gray hair and goatee.  It’s a look we’re not used to seeing on the actor, who has traditionally been clean shaven with a close-cropped haircut for much of his career.  I’m actually diggin’ that he’s embracing his age and acting accordingly.

Here’s a breif snippet of the stars on set:

And here’s a few pics from the set:

Directed by Mikael Halfstrom (1408, THE RITE) THE TOMB synopsis is as follows:

Ray Breslin (Stallone) is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He’s framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars.

Schwarzenegger and Stallone will seemingly team up to escape the prison, with Arnold playing a particularly skilled inmate.  The film co-stars Jim Caviezel, Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio, Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan, and, naturally, 50 Cent.

THE TOMB is slated to open in 2013.
