Dracula Claes Bang

A teaser trailer has been released for Sherlock collaborators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat's upcoming Dracula mini-series, and it makes the show look quite enticing to me. There are some gruesome images in there, some ghoulish sights, and Danish actor Claes Bang in the title role, advising someone to stay calm.

This series will consist of three 90 minute episodes, so it's sort of like getting a trilogy of Dracula features presented as a show. It's said to be

reinventing Bram Stoker’s classic story for a 21st-century audience.

Filming began at Orava Castle in Slovakia a couple months ago, then moved to England and Bray Studios, which was formerly owned by Hammer Films.

A Hartswood Films production, it will be airing on BBC One in the U.K. and Ireland, then it will be available to watch on the Netflix streaming service internationally. A premiere date has not yet been announced.

Check out the teaser trailer below and see if you'd like to watch this new take on Dracula.
