Terrence Malick has recently enlisted the help of his friend, Christian Bale for an untitled project.
Bale will serve as the male lead with another female, possibly Rooney Mara, Haley Bennet, Clemence Poesy or Mia Wasikowska. The two leads will be the focus of the film. This could be a project once rumored about called VOYAGE OF TIME, but as of right now no one is sure. It’s likely that this will be a completely different project though. There are currently no other details for us to share.
Malick and Bale have worked together before on 2008’s THE NEW WORLD. The director also asked Bale to be in a film that he currently has in post-production starring Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams. Affleck later replaced Bale on the untitled romantic film.
The untitled film with Bale is set to start shooting next year and will probably take 5 years to complete (just kidding).
