The first Deadpool 2 posters have a lot to be thankful for

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Just a few short weeks ahead of American Thanksgiving, 20th Century Fox has served up the first poster for DEADPOOL 2! As you can see from the image posted below, the art is a riff on a Norman Rockwell painting which gathers all of the film's major characters together at the Thanksgiving table, with Josh Brolin's Cable keeping a watchful eye on the man in the red pajamas as he prepares to dish out some tasty turkey for his guests.

In going around the table, we find DEADPOOL 2 stars Zazie Beetz as Domino, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, each ready to give their thanks for the blessing of this succulent sequel.

Ha ha ha! In addition to the new poster, Ryan Reynolds shared this gem as a follow-up to the original:

Directed by ATOMIC BLONDE's David Leitch with a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, DEADPOOL 2 should have no problem putting asses in the seats for a second helping of the Merc with a Mouth's zany comic book violence and wise-cracking jokes up on the big screen. After all, the original DEADPOOL whipped up a total of $783 million dollars worldwide during its tremendously successful box office run. The film was so successful in fact, that it's inspired other studios to be more open-minded when considering the distribution of R-rated superhero films.

DEADPOOL 2 is scheduled for a June 1, 2018 release.
