The full trailer for Cobra Kai is here to show you no mercy!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Mere moments after reporting on the billboard promotion with a working phone number for COBRA KAI, a full-length trailer for the upcoming YouTubeRed series has now made its way online! Grab your bonsai shears, fly-catching chopsticks, and get ready to sand the floor, Cobra-style, because Sensai Lawrence is about to train your pansy ass into a full-fledged warrior of the streets.

In the new series, a down-and-out Johnny, whose looking to turn his life around by reintroducing the teachings of his old dojo, Cobra Kai, invites the next generation of would-be fighters to learn under his hardened rule. However, that's not exactly sitting well with Daniel, who still carries the values taught to him by his sensei, Mr. Miyagi, into his everyday life.

COBRA KAI will find Xolo Maridueña (PARENTHOOD) as Miguel Diaz, a victim of high school bullies who’s taken under Johnny’s wing; Tanner Buchanan (DESIGNATED SURVIVOR) as Johnny’s son, Robby Keene, who’s determined to prove himself to be nothing like his father; and guest-star Ed Asner as Johnny’s old-school stepfather, Sid Weinberg. The series also stars Courtney Henggeler as Daniel's wife and business partner, Amanda, while Mary Mouser (FREAKISH) enters the story as their spitfire daughter, Samantha.

Wow, okay, so the trailer is perhaps a bit more mature than I was expecting, at least in the language department. That aside, I must admit that the Karate Kid fan in me is screaming, right now. It feels great to see Larusso and Lawrence at it again, and it looks as if they've some unfinished business to tend to on the mat. Will Zabka's Lawrence finally come around to Larusso's "path of least resistance" ways, or will he show his old bandanna-wearing foe no mercy for one last bout? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

COBRA KAI will arrive on YouTube Red later this year.
