Focus Features has debuted a new trailer and poster for Graham Moore’s The Outfit. The film follows Leonard, an English tailor (Mark Rylance) who used to craft suits on London’s world-famous Savile Row. But after a personal tragedy, he’s ended up in Chicago, operating a small tailor shop in a rough part of town where he makes beautiful clothes for the only people around who can afford them: a family of vicious gangsters. Joining Rylance for a dangerous bit of business is Zoey Deutch (Zombieland: Double Tap, The Politician), who appears to be new to the world of gangsters and double-crosses. The Outfit trailer teases plenty of tension as Rylance and Deutch find themselves pulled into a bloody dispute over the contents of a mysterious attache case. With cops, criminals, and everyone in between willing to kill for control of the prize, it’s only a matter of time before everything goes belly up.

In addition to The Outfit trailer, Focus Features also debuted several stills and a stylish new poster for the film. Each image creates a mood as a night turned deadly starts to unravel.

Directed and co-written by Graham Moore (The Imitation Game) with Jonathan McClain, The Outfit also stars Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, The Maze Runner), Johnny Flynn (Emma, Beast), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Jupiter Ascending, The Omen), Simon Russell Beale (The Death of Stalin, Into the Woods), and Alan Mehdizadeh (The Outlaws, Whitstable Pearl).

What do you think of The Outfit trailer? Do you think Rylance and Deutch will make it through the night alive? What do you think is inside the case? Do you get the feeling that Deutch’s character is a double agent? I would not be surprised if it turns out that she’s working for another criminal element. Maybe she’s in it for herself? I suppose we’ll have to wait and see.

Focus Features will release The Outfit in theaters on February 25, 2022.
