The rebel underground lives in this new teaser for Hunger Games: Mockingjay

One aspect I enjoy from THE HUNGER GAMES is its political satire. Last month, Donald Sutherland‘s President Snow addressed Panem promoting unity, with a backhanded threat of starvation. This new teaser starts out similarly, before being hijacked by the rebellion. Methinks Donald and Co. are going to have some trouble on their hands come this Fall.

Check it out:

While the first HUNGER GAMES film interested me with its politics and bored me with its love story and actual games, the second film actually surprised me in that department. The love story was still trash, but the secondary characters took a step forward, and the film ended on a ballsier note, with Katniss giving us the ole “Luigi death stare“. I also am really enjoying Donald Sutherland‘s deliciously evil turn as the corrupt president. While I’m not so sure with this Part 1 and 2 business, I’m willing to give the third entry a fair shake.

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1, will be released on November 21, 2014.
