The Tomorrow War, Chris Pratt, Amazon

Amazon's upcoming The Tomorrow War will find the fate of a futuristic war resting upon one man's abilities to confront the ghosts of his past. With humanity losing to an alien invasion, scientists develop a way to draft soldiers from the past to fight the war. We got our first look at the film last month, but I think it's fair to say that the tease felt a little underwhelming, or perhaps that's just me. Either way, that should hopefully change tomorrow when Amazon Prime releases the full trailer for the sci-fi action flick. "The teaser was the teaser," Chris Pratt said on Twitter. "We didn’t show you much. But tomorrow that all changes. Get ready. We are about to blow up your feeds!! And the trailer, like the movie, is unbelievable" The trailer will drop tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, why not check out some character posters?

In addition to Chris Pratt, The Tomorrow War also stars Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Mathews, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, and Keith Powers. The film was directed by Chris McKay from a script by Zach Dean.

The official synopsis for The Tomorrow War:

In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

The Tomorrow War will debut on Amazon Prime Video on July 2, 2021.
