Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Director Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's IT: CHAPTER TWO will be unleashed this September and today we have word that a killer behind-the-scenes companion book is headed our way as well. The book is called The World of IT and it will be published in hardcover and e-book via Abrams Books this September. Check out the killer cover art below!

The 224-page book written by Alyse Wax (Curious Goods: Behind the Scenes of Friday the 13th: The Series) and featuring a foreword by Andy Muschietti collects concept art, sketches, storyboards, and behind-the-scenes photos from the films. It includes commentary by director Andy Muschietti, producer Barbara Muschietti, cast members, and other creative players.

An official behind-the-scenes companion to IT and IT CHAPTER TWO, the book's rundown goes like this:

Collecting the best artwork produced during the making of both of these sophisticated and visually enthralling films—including concept art, sketches, storyboards, and behind-the-scenes photography—The World of IT explores the films’ singular aesthetic and meticulous world-building. This compendium includes commentary from director Andy Muschietti; producer Barbara Muschietti; the acclaimed ensemble cast; and other creative players who helped bring a new, disturbing vision of King’s perennial bestseller to life.

The World of IT will be published in hardcover and e-book via Abrams Books on September 10. Pre-order on Amazon HERE.
